‘Are you bored? Then buy a raccoon’, was the slogan of the Nymburk brewery. Although the movie Postřižiny (Cutting it Short) was filmed in the Dačice brewery, the book it is based on refers to the original Nymburk brewery where the writer Bohumil Hrabal spent his childhood. Follow in the footsteps of this Czech writer, inspired by the atmosphere of the local brewery, and sample the Postřižiny beer flavour along the way. Of course, responsible drivers have the option of the local non-alcoholic beer with the double-meaning name of Střízlík (‘a sober little wren’, if you like).
