Karlštejn Golf Resort

Golf Resort Karlštejn is located in a protected area of the Czech Karst.

The design of the golf course carries the hallmark of Canadian architects Les Furber and Jim Eremk, who also participated in the construction of the “Valderama” course in Spain and the “Varadero” in Cuba, as well as 70 other courses you can find all over the world. The first 18 holes were launched in 1993. The fairways sensitively complement the surrounding countryside, featuring the landmark Karlštejn Castle. Golfers get a sporty and demanding game in challenging terrain, with two lakes, as well as bunkers and ravines. In 2008, a 9-hole public course was added on the southern slope of Voškov hill. With the exception of the 2nd hole, the fairways follow along the contour lines and are well-placed among natural strips of mature greenery. There is also a training academy led by Pavel Landa EGTF, a children’s club (for ages 5-12) and a youth club (for ages 12-18). The club restaurant Kolkovna Karlštejn is an inviting place to sit awhile and relax.
